My name is Amy and I am a Pinterest addict.
The first step is recognizing that you have a problem, right? Although there is not a twelve step program for crafting addicts as of late, I’m sure that it will be added shortly to the multitude of addictions that seem to be the rage these days.
“I’m sorry (insert partners name here) – I cheated on you but it wasn’t my fault. His name was Michaels. I couldn’t help myself. I have an addiction.”
So if you know me, which you probably don’t because you are visited the “about” section, you will know that I love:
1. A hot bargain. I have a $20 rule which means I really don’t buy anything over $20 if I can help it. There have been a few exceptions, but generally that is the rule. If I want something nice, I’ll buy it second-hand.
2. Crafting. I think this that the above is directly responsible for my love of making things myself. Whenever I look at any of the “shabby chic” or “bohemian” that seems to be on trend, I always think “I could do that myself. And for less money.”
So here I am, living in our almost 100 year old duplex with my boyfriend Corey and our dog who is a cross between a Border Collie and a hyperactive four year old child. I am in my last year of a Joint Communications degree for Public Relations after an epiphany four years ago while I was working as a Massage Therapist.
I hope you enjoy the site and feel free to contact me if you have any projects you would like to see!
